Crosslands Training
The crosslands training courses are designed to make theology accessible and to help Christians grow in their understanding and confidence as disciples. We are going to be making our way through the course over the next two years and here is how you can get involved.
Step 1: choose a level
Level 2: BootCamp
What is Bootcamp?
The basecamp programme at its core is the same content as the foundations programme but with some added challenge and opportunity for growth.
Basecamp students will complete all the same activities as the foundations students, but in order to go deeper will also read an extra book alongside the online content, as well as completing a 1500 word Essay on the topic studied which will receive appropriate feedback for consideration. These two extra requirements are designed to help the core of the material make its way deeply into our hearts. It can be a great way to test the waters in considering future theological study at the tertiary level.
The added material means that basecamp students should expect the material to take about 4 hours per week, with the essay due two weeks after the course content is finished.
Study at this level will cost $120 per course.
Level 1: Foundations
What is Foundations?
Foundations is the most accessible version of the course. For foundation students the content should take about 2 hours per week.
Each of the courses within the programme consist of 12 weeks of Study.
There is a 4 week rhythm within the course; 3 weeks of material through the online portal, followed by an in person tutorial evening at the church.
The entire programme is planned to be 6 courses over two years.
Study at this level will cost $40 per course.
Launch night: Monday 3 Feb 7pm
In order to introduce everyone to how the course works and to get us all moving at the same time, we are going to have a crosslands launch night on Monday the 3rd of february @ 7pm/
Sign up for your desired level, and come that night so we can begin to learn together, and get a first look at how to use the online material.
EBC Essentials Course
If you are new and would like to know more about Enoggera Baptist Church, then this course would be a fantastic place to start.
The EBC Essentials course exists to explore the vision, the theology, and the values of Enoggera Baptist Church. It also serves as our membership pathway for those would like to step into partnership with us for the sake of the gospel.
The course covers 4 topics over 4 Sundays:
1 - Vision & Values (what makes us tick)
2 - Core Theology (what we hold firmly)
3 - Secondary Theology (where we can disagree)
4 - Church Life & Membership (your place in the family)

Young Ads Murder Mystery Night
Come with your best acting and detective skills, ready for a fun night
Here’s some things you might need to know:
Leading up to the event, you will be sent a character guide - Prep is required to familiarise yourself with the character and role.
We want people to get into the spirt with acting, role playing and costumes (we recommend op shopping!)
Alternatively, if you’re not comfortable with the acting, there is an option to play as an extra - so you can just be involved in the murder solving part
Due to how the game works, RSPV will be required by 16th Feb If you are no longer going to make it, please let us know with as much notice as possible!
There will be a dinner to start off the night, $5 to cover the cost of the food

Come and join us this Christmas - Sunday, 8th December from 4pm for some fun & festivities on the lawn as we celebrate Christmas together!
Bring the whole family for an afternoon of entertainment, followed by lo-fi acoustic Christmas Carols on the lawn at 5:30pm

Picnic in the Park
Join us for a picnic in the park after the morning service on Sunday 22nd September at Sedgley Park, Newmarket. BYO picnic morning tea/lunch, plus a bit extra to share, if you’re able to. Also bring along any lawn games or balls/frisbees etc. Toilets on site, as well as a kids playground. Bring a camping chair/picnic blanket, hats and sunblock.
We have a lot of new faces in the congregation at the moment, so this will be a great way to say ‘hi’ to those you may not have met yet.
Working Bee
It’s time to give our church property the care it deserves. Join us for a working bee as we come together to look after our space. Your help would be so appreciated! There will be jobs for all skill levels. Bring your enthusiasm and energy—let’s make a difference together!

It's an awesome opportunity to get to know some of the other people at the other 3 churches we are joining with, so I'd encourage you to try make it along.

Some Deets:
We're unpacking revival, digging into the word and earnestly praying to be revived, worshipping God together, spending time in front of the fire and out in the bush, playing outdoor games, praying for each other, and having a bunch of opportunities to play your favourite board/ball games - all while making new and life-long friends.
The camp is catered with continental brekkies, lunches & 2 course dinner. Please note: there is no dinner the first night; you will need to eat on the way there or before you leave home.
Please fill out all dietary requirements below.
It will be cold - the en-suited cabins have heaters, but bring what you need to keep warm.
Other stuff you need to know:
You need to bring your own bedding (sheets, sleeping bag/quilt/blanket, pillow), clothes, toiletries, bible, etc. Keep in mind it will be cold!!
Please ensure you include any details for medications that you will be bringing to camp in the case of an emergency.
All the regular rules will still apply like no alcohol, no drugs, and no dangerous behaviour. Unless you are married, dorms will be exclusively single gender at all times.

The Shadows (Easter Thursday)
The Shadows: Easter Thursday
The Shadows is a reflective service held on Easter Thursday, marking Jesus final hours. Join us as we seek to still our hearts and focus our minds on that day 2000 years ago.
What do I need to know: this service is not a celebration, but a commemoration. There will be no singing, nor opportunity for chatting afterwards. We are seeking to enter into the story of the death of Christ, therefore the night will be one of quiet worship and reflection.

Man Camp 2024
Why Man Camp?
Men’s camp is an opportunity for us to get together as men and hear some teaching from the word aimed straight at us, and to respond to that word together. There will also be plenty of opportunity to just hang out and get to know one another.
Camp Information
When: Kicking off on Friday 8th March after dinner (7:30pm), and finishing up by lunch time Saturday (2pm), Man Camp is short and sweet.
Where: Grice’s Macadamia Farm - 209 Burgum Road, North Maleny QLD 4552.
Cost: $85. Direct deposit to church account and mark “Man Camp Name”
What to Expect
3 devotional sessions and a bunch of free time
Location is a working farm, not a professional camp ground (therefore expect only basic facilities as well as unfenced dams and machinery etc.). Farmer Bob Gryce built some meeting spaces on his farm as a personal project.
