Picnic in the Park
Join us for a picnic in the park after the morning service on Sunday 22nd September at Sedgley Park, Newmarket. BYO picnic morning tea/lunch, plus a bit extra to share, if you’re able to. Also bring along any lawn games or balls/frisbees etc. Toilets on site, as well as a kids playground. Bring a camping chair/picnic blanket, hats and sunblock.
We have a lot of new faces in the congregation at the moment, so this will be a great way to say ‘hi’ to those you may not have met yet.
Working Bee
It’s time to give our church property the care it deserves. Join us for a working bee as we come together to look after our space. Your help would be so appreciated! There will be jobs for all skill levels. Bring your enthusiasm and energy—let’s make a difference together!

In the lead-up to REVIVE 2024 this year, we are planning a YA Prayer & Worship night to give everyone a chance to connect before the weekend away. It's an awesome opportunity to get to know some of the other people at the other 3 churches we are joining with, so I'd encourage you to try make it along.
This time, Ashgrove Baptist will be hosting at 7pm Wednesday 4th September.

Some Deets:
We're unpacking revival, digging into the word and earnestly praying to be revived, worshipping God together, spending time in front of the fire and out in the bush, playing outdoor games, praying for each other, and having a bunch of opportunities to play your favourite board/ball games - all while making new and life-long friends.
The camp is catered with continental brekkies, lunches & 2 course dinner. Please note: there is no dinner the first night; you will need to eat on the way there or before you leave home.
Please fill out all dietary requirements below.
It will be cold - the en-suited cabins have heaters, but bring what you need to keep warm.
Other stuff you need to know:
You need to bring your own bedding (sheets, sleeping bag/quilt/blanket, pillow), clothes, toiletries, bible, etc. Keep in mind it will be cold!!
Please ensure you include any details for medications that you will be bringing to camp in the case of an emergency.
All the regular rules will still apply like no alcohol, no drugs, and no dangerous behaviour. Unless you are married, dorms will be exclusively single gender at all times.

The Shadows (Easter Thursday)
The Shadows: Easter Thursday
The Shadows is a reflective service held on Easter Thursday, marking Jesus final hours. Join us as we seek to still our hearts and focus our minds on that day 2000 years ago.
What do I need to know: this service is not a celebration, but a commemoration. There will be no singing, nor opportunity for chatting afterwards. We are seeking to enter into the story of the death of Christ, therefore the night will be one of quiet worship and reflection.

Man Camp 2024
Why Man Camp?
Men’s camp is an opportunity for us to get together as men and hear some teaching from the word aimed straight at us, and to respond to that word together. There will also be plenty of opportunity to just hang out and get to know one another.
Camp Information
When: Kicking off on Friday 8th March after dinner (7:30pm), and finishing up by lunch time Saturday (2pm), Man Camp is short and sweet.
Where: Grice’s Macadamia Farm - 209 Burgum Road, North Maleny QLD 4552.
Cost: $85. Direct deposit to church account and mark “Man Camp Name”
What to Expect
3 devotional sessions and a bunch of free time
Location is a working farm, not a professional camp ground (therefore expect only basic facilities as well as unfenced dams and machinery etc.). Farmer Bob Gryce built some meeting spaces on his farm as a personal project.

EBC Essentials Course
